Audit the IRS Rally
Washington DC
Wednesday, June 19th
The National Tea Party Patriots organization
is holding a rally, 12-3 p.m.
on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
We are looking into NOW HAVE chartered a bus for the rally in DC (see below). We can get a coach bus, leaving at 8:00 a.m., returning by 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, June 19th. The cost per person would be $20. Dropoff point would be at the U.S. Capitol. It doesn’t get more convenient than that!
Speakers include Mike Lee, Michelle Bachmann, Rand Paul, and others. The IRS has profiled and targeted YOU, and trampled all over your 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendment rights! Fight back! Maybe we can turn this into a “Replace the IRS” rally! Meet up as a group with Larry Nordvig next to the General Grant statue (just behind the Lawn in the direction of the Washington Monument) between 11-11:30. RTP members are asked to wear a yellow shirt. RTP yellow T-shirts are for sale on-line, as are RTP ballcaps, Gadsden flags, Gadsden pins, etc. Bring signs with “catchy”, simple, easy-to-read slogans on them, or wave a Gadsden flag. If we do not get a bus, plan on carpooling, or you can use Amtrak, Va Railway Express, or drive/DC Metro. Arrive early to find parking. Union Station has a huge parking garage, and there are many others in the area. See you there!

**UPDATE**
At least one bus confirmed, perhaps two or more. You MUST RSVP as stated above to be guaranteed a seat. We MAY have some carpool opportunities if we overflow the buses (but be sure to RSVP!). Anyone who has RSVP’d previously but has changed his/her mind should let Larry know ASAP, or we may ask you honor your RSVP to pay for your seat regardless.
Instructions:
- Bring $20 to give to Larry when boarding the bus
- Yellow RTP t-shirts will be available for sale, bring your own yellow shirt, or wear the colors of the flag
- Bring flags, pins, signs (no poles) with catchy phrases
- Sunscreen & water is recommended; wear comfortable shoes
- Buses will have restrooms

Please arrive at the James River Transportation Terminal by 8:00 AM on Weds the 19th.
